:-\ The revolving door continues. I really like the way WFLA blocks the phone lines to avoid all those 'where's Pat' calls. No doubt Dilbert offered management this suggestion. Anyone remember when Mike Harvey's show played 'Hhey Jude' - and blocked the phones for a couple of days as the geared up for the salsa??

Pat was a quality product; great show prep and willing to listen to alternate opinions . . .even from callers who might need a serious evaluation of their current meds! You'll be missed, my friend. But I am confident you'll land on your feet. Just hope we can find out where! Even with this wallop, Merry Christmas to you and your family -- your in my prayers.
 
not that it matters...but "Hey Jude" played on loop when Cool 100 became Big 100...when Big flipped to Rumba there was no stunting...just a flip of the switch...

Now what really would have been cool, is to slowly change "Hey Jude" into "Hey Jesus" when Big 100 went to Rumba over a weekend.
 
On December 11 at 5:50 am, I heard on WFLF a promo for the Pat Campbell show to be heard at 6:00 am. That is one week after his dismissal. This isn't the first time that I heard a promo for a show or a personality that is no longer on a clear channel station.
 
Terrible descision on behalf of clear channel.....

The show was damn good....it is sad how this show gets canned and the Monsters carry on.......

I was unaware that Pat staged sold-out concert events every Summer...or did the numbers that the Monsters did.

Fun fact: WFLA actually lost money the one time they staged a "concert," the Glen Beck Christmas Show, and had to have the 'In The House' guys pick up the tab for Beck.

Just wondering...cause I could care less....but where do you get your fun fact from? Not for nothing, but the Monsters haven't been as good as they once were in years...
