Pat Feldballe in hospital

I just learned that Pat Feldballe had a heart attack while at the gym. He is awaiting bypass surgery at ECMC. I'm sure he would appreciate hearing from friends of the broadcast fraternity. Send a card..no phone calls.

Wow. Pat's a great guy, and I wish him a speedy recovery. At least he made it to the hospital. They can do wonders these days with bypass.

For those of you who might not know "Joe Pat's " ubiquitous voice, honesty and "Professionalism" (with a Capital "P"), seek him out after he makes his well-supported recovery and spend a couple of hours with him "talking shop."His passion for the biz is palpable.

He's a treasured friend, a great teacher and a pro's pro. Get well quickly, Pat!

Prayers and positive energy to our good friend Pat. Shocked doesn't adequately describe the reaction to seeing this.

Happy to say that Pat is stable and being well cared for in the ICU. We talked briefly this afternoon. His voice sounded stronger than half the guys on the air (or in my case, off the air) and he's in good spirits. Surgery to come soon followed by re-hab. Thanks for your prayers and good thoughts.

Kudos to Tom Donahue for mentioning Pat Feldballe's recovery on WECK today. Very nice touch. Good man Tom!

The title of the thread can now be changed to "Pat Feldballe is home from the hospital." The operation was a success and the recuperation process begins.
