I don't normally post over here since last year's schism, but I've been asked by Pat Letang's family to share the word of his passing with the various boards where he used to be a regular.
Pat (who was also the business editor at CINW, "The New 940" in Montreal) was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, and he shared his struggle with the disease on his blog at http://www.940montreal.com/blog_letang/. He lost that fight yesterday afternoon.
I'm grateful to Pat for all the insight he shared with us here over the years about the inner workings of Canadian radio. He'll be missed!
