So, is he truly stupid or is he desperate to play the "I'm just like you" act?
The other day, he started to talk about RFK Jr., Aaron Rodgers, etc.
He then started talking about Rodgers' appearances on the Pat McAfee show. McCrory kept calling him McAvoy. And kept saying JFK.
Does either host try to correct him? No.
Find it amusing too they play clips of him on NBC and Fox and lo and behold the southern accent goes away on TV. The man is a moron and a fake.

The morning show is becoming unlistenable - between Beth's breathless teenager act and Bo teetering on the edge of a Newsmax wannabe, it's no reason their ratings have fallen through the toilet. Bringing on all the Trump cultists kills any credibility.
 
I’m not a fan of WBT’s programming, but you’d probably be better off switching to WFAE or another alternative. Radio One obviously sees something in their programming direction at 1110 and they’re unlikely to change it in an election year.

Oh i have switched. Financially too.
And when you look at the last ratings book, many others have as well.
 
I quit listening to him once there was no reason to turn to WBT at all after Rush's death. The discovery of 63 Big WAYS was also a factor, because the other oldies station wasn't as good as I thought it was.

Even conservative friends of mine complain about the morning giggle fest. I don’t listen so I wouldn’t know.

You mean there was a reason to listen before mega dittos died? If so then I missed it. 🤭
 
Pat McCrory used to be a guest commentator on NBC's Meet the Press but I haven't seen him on there since Kristen Welker took over from Chuck Todd. I wonder if she cancelled his appearances, or does she have any say in the matter?

Maybe some input but I would think the producer and director would have a say in it.

I did hear Pat state on his radio show Wednesday that he was recently back on Meet the Press. But he does not seem to appear as often since Kristen Welker took over from Chuck Todd.
 
Pat McCrory apparently will not be making his Wednesday appearance on WBT for the next few weeks. Not sure if it is vacation, temporary leave of absence, or if his show has been cancelled. But he stated he is taking the next few weeks off through the end of summer, spendng some time at Lake James. Unclear if and when he will return. He will continue to host his TV show Unspun on WTVI-PBS Charlotte.

Apparently Pat McCrory has not returned to his Wednesday hourly appearance on WBT since August of last year. So it would appear as if his temporary Leave of Absence is now permanent. Don't know if this was his decision or Radio One. Last I heard he was hosting a Friday night program on WTVI-42, PBS Charlotte. However it is not carried on the statewide network of PBS NC stations, so I do not receive WTVI in Spartanburg. I can get Channel 33 from Asheville and Channel 17 from Linville near Grandfather Mountain, which both have very strong signals. But their PBS programming is different from WTVI.
 
Apparently he is devoting all his time and resources to his TV show on WTVI, Unspun. Not sure if there were contractual or non compete issues regarding his departure from WBT. I just watched a video of his interview with former VP Mike Pence on WTVI. He appears more polished and professional than he was on WBT.
 
Gov Pat's "Bathroom Bill" picked a fight where none existed. This and other moves caused Hollywood to look elsewhere for filming locations costing the state millions in lost revenue. Maybe that's the reason for his fadeout.
