Pat O'Day on Today's Radio Part 1

Some excellent points. Talk radio is in trouble today because the majority of the programmers don't understand that it's not about politics, it's about creating, entertaining, compelling radio. Instead, we get a thousand Rush clones whose entire show prep seems to consist of regurgitating the GOP party platform (along with a token few who ape the Democrat platform). It's gotten to the point that if you're not talkin' the "party line" you can't get work. None of this bodes well for the format.
