Yeah, another dumb move by clueless out of towners who have no sense of tradition. And before you say "but it costs a lot of money to broadcast Seafair", you can't tell me cutting Pat will save THAT much money!

I live in Portland, OR. now and have for years...however, grew up in Seattle and always looked forward to Seafair each year. Lived in Lake City and could actually hear the big boats from my back yard. (when I had the ears of a much younger man)...However, still visit a golfing buddy in Seattle area every couple of months and check our Seattle radio each trip up. Seems to lose a little more of the local feel each time up...and this seems to be another step in that sad direction.
