Pat Sajak selling Annapolis' WNAV 1430

I was in Annapolis last night.. No FM antenna hung yet on the WYRE tower.. 99.9 is back to being a relay of WNAV 1430.. Yes WYRE is it's own thing now. It will be a nice addition once on FM.

WYRE's classic rock stream is available on WNAV's website, now hearing voice tracking and a few spots when I tune in. No imaging though.

Looks like WNAV, in a sense, has bought a Baltimore area translator (Edgemere's 98.3) from Hope Christian Church of Marlton. I didn't know this translator existed, and no wonder. All of 10 watts at 3 meters high! Guess it will be moving and growing soon.

I was traveling around in Anne Arundel County tonight. I can confirm WNAV 1430 audio could still be heard on 99.9 carrying an Orioles game. DCRTV has a good scoop.

The 99.9 translator of WNAV has been on, more than off. Today WYRE 810 was off, closer to a "93.5 RNR" coming soon?

WNAV trying to work its way back to FM. I question the 92.7 translator frequency given there a class A FM (now WPRS) one county over, but guess we'll see if the FCC approves and it's built. On the ground WPRS is received rather well in the Annnapolis area around 27 miles away.

Proposed translator,

WNAVs 92.7 translator is on, and as predicted battles it out with DC area’s WPRS only a few miles from the tower. I predict a frequency change soon.

I usually tune in 1430 on Sunday mornings to hear The Yacht Club but the station was off the air. I haven't checked back to see how temporary it might have been.
