I have first hand knowledge that the former WAZL G.M. has been offered a position at WYLN-TV 35 in Hazleton. WYLN is a low power broadcaster catering to the greater Hazleton area.

Ward is scheduled to anchor a noon newcast. Other details are not available. One thing is certain. If you are having trouble sleeping, Pat's droning delivery is better than Brahm's lullaby. Lights out everybody. Sweet dreams!

I Worked With Pat Years Ago At WILK.

He And I Did The Infamous "George Banks Broadcasts" That Horriable Day.

I miss Pat Ward on WAZL. Since he left local news on WAZL has gotten less and less. I listen every morning for the local news around 7:30 and they are down to 2 local news stories and 1 state story. Some mornings at 7:30 there is no local news, just traffic and weather.
