Patriots-Bills Game on TV

Unfortunately, I think they've ensured that we won't see them in a night game for some time to come.

While I knew the Patriots were going to win, the score reminded me of one of their scores from their four in a row Super Bowl losses :(

But hey, I still support any AFC team. I still remember all those jokes the NFCers and sports people would make...well all that turn around when the Broncos won their first Super Bowl and who's laughing now?

As I die-hard Pats fan I'm not going to complain about last night's game. But I do feel bad for Buffalo fans.

Plus I agree that it will be a very long time before any of the major networks schedule Buffalo for a night game.

A Pox Upon M_G

A Pats fan?

May weasels infest your workplace!!!

Oh, wait, too late, huh?

Despite being born in Buffalo, I've been a Pats fan for many years....sorry Buffalo.

As for the weasels in the workplace, do you mean my current or former profession?

Weasel-wise, I doubt that there's much difference these days.

It was nice to see the Buffalo Bills play a night game.

They already had the Monday-night game against Dallas. NBC and the NFL got greedy by moving the Patriots game from a 1 PM kickoff.

At least the CBS stations got a more compelling contest. Buffalo and most of New England aired Chiefs-Colts. Rochester and Watertown aired Browns-Ravens -- what a finish!

Best of all, WTVH-5, CBS 6 Albany, WBNG-12 and WFSB-3 were able to show the Jets' OT win against the Steelers. ;D For once J-E-T-S does not mean what Belichek's Bullies think it means.

That's interesting the state was broken up into watching three different games though I wonder why here in Rochester we got the Cleveland-Baltimore game instead of the Jets. Is it because we're closer to Cleveland than NYC?

More likely because a star player on the Browns or Ravens is from the Rochester area.

Nice guess, but no. There's a very long history of Browns fandom in the Rochester market that long predates the existence of the Bills, including an active fan club that runs bus tours to Cleveland for Browns home games.
