Pats-Broncos Game Coverage...

Hi everyone:

For those who've never seen me before, I usually hang out on the Denver board as well as the National TV board (among a few other places ) ).

Anyhow...Enough with the introduction. :)

Not to rub it in or anything, but as you no doubt know, we beat New England and will now face Pittsburgh here in Denver in the AFC Championship Game, which will be played at Invesco Field.

But that's NOT why I'm posting.

I'm posting to get a feel as to how the Boston media covered the New England-Denver game (particularly the pre and post game coverage). Here in Denver, the game was on our local station KCNC 4 which, like WBZ 4 in Boston, is also owned by CBS. Once the game was over, KCNC dropped network and went local. Did WBZ do this as well?

How 'bout the other stations? How 'bout FSN New England? Here in Denver, FSN Rocky Mountain was (already?) on the air with FSN Live when they went into post-game mode. They had the usual post-game news conferences and player interviews as well as analysis from former Bronco tackle (and CU graduate) Jay Leeuwenberg (sp?).

But if there was one major flaw that was VERY noticeable in the post-game coverage by KCNC, that was the promos with KCNC's Molly Hughes live (??) from somewhere (couldn't tell where) announcing that they were gonna be "First in the locker room" after the game.

Well...Actually they *weren't* first. FSN Rocky Mountain was. EVERY time a major development was taking place in the post game events, while FSN Rocky Mountain and/or NFL Network had switched to the breaking development (usually a press conference), KCNC was in commercial. Did you guys encounter that?

Just how did the Boston media cover the Patriots loss to Denver?

Curiously Yours :)

Coverage was pretty much the same as they cover every game. Ch4(Ch:38) does post game analysis as does 2 radio stations for 2-4 hours.
