Patty & husband Steve Kingston (former PD at Z100 & K-Rock in NYC) along with Kingston's longtime business partner Don Cavaleri have formed a media company that is filing to purchase a station in St. Augustine Beach, FL in the Jacksonville market. Plans are to flip the station's format from Spanish Language Tropical Music to a "mainstream contemporary format with an enormously talented morning show".
 
:) I know patty a long long time, she is so sweet, I wish her the Best!!! I even knew her hubby from Z100.
 
First Naomi leaves, and now this...;o).....hope it's not true....but if it is, one can always do a remote from Florida and beam it back to New York. Assuming she's not going to be a part of that new morning show down there....
 
Well, Z-100's already piping their morning show from New York City through Florida...
 
For some reason they have not spoken about this on the air, at least I have not heard them do so. There have been a few mentions on their Facebook page by friends but they have been deleted. Any idea why, if this is true, they would not acknowledge or speak of Patty's departure? When Brad left they only spoke about it on his last day. Would that be the plan for Patty? Seems odd.
 
I don't remember talk of brad leaving....his last report was on Race Taylors show, as he was subbing for Scott and Todd during a vacation week..

No Scott and Todd talked about it on his last morning. They explained he wanted to remain home and not travel as much.
 
She did not have much to say, just a simple thank you. Seemed tense. Maybe too emotional for her but it seemed odd to wait until 10 minutes before show ended to say goodbye.
