Paul and Ron in West Palm?

It's been confirmed that Bob and Tom will lose West Palm Beach at the end of this year.
Clear Channel agreed to syndicate the Paul and Young Ron Show out of Miami as part of their new five year extension.

If Clear Channel can lose a local host for it, they probably would.

Anyone else notice how Clear Channel (not Premiere) has been building these mostly regional syndication networks lately? We've got MJ/Schnitt in Florida and the hurricane bull's-eye markets, Quinn and Rose in the northeast, Sean Valentine in the southwest, Lex and Terry in various small markets in middle America and Florida, and now this. I wonder if any other hosts are going to fill out the rest of the country.

I agree with the previous poster; WBBG-FM's signal is nearly perfect in most of the populated areas of Palm Beach County. This moves simply brings Paul and Ron to the Treasure Coast, where WKGR's signal is strong. And WKGR has always focused on serving Palm Beach County, not the Treasure Coast. I guess saving money is the bottom line...

Uh, no...MAKING money is, Scott. P&YR have always been a favorite of clients and outbill way beyond their ratings share. I'm betting their ratings are at least as good as B&T, but because their locals, they'll bill much better.
