PAUL DUNN

What happened to Paul Dunn? The guy who used to wear the Gorilla suit and call himself "Thrilla Gorilla"...same guy who used to toss rubber chickens out to people and leave his business card on faux $20 bills as tips. He used to be at WJBC, WRBA, WSOY, and WTAZ to name a few. Is he still in radio? If so, where?

Paul hung up the headphones in 1994. The last station he was on-air at was WIHN (he had been at WTAZ before that), where he was the Morning Drive host and sales rep. Dunn went on to work as an Insurance Rep in Illinois for ten years. He still lives in Bloomington-Normal. He now sells subscriptions to the local newspaper. A picture of him at a recent event selling newspapers is below.

Nice photo. Is that a rug or too much coloring on top of that pointed head?

In my opinon he needed to leave radio 15 or more years before he ever did. Stale...lame...used tired worn out jokes...thought he was better than he truly was in my opinion. One of the worst things I have ever heard was him doing the coupon show on WTAZ...just awful!
