Paul Ford Takes Back AM 1480

Ronn Mott's last show on WPFR-AM was this morning due to Mr. Ford wanting AM 1480 back for Christian Broadcasting. I guess the two FM and AM 800 weren't enough. Ronn provided LIVE thought provoking radio with a wide variety of music, not to mention all the stories he shared of recording artists he met through the years. Best of luck Ronn!

The thought that was provoked was " why?" ???
Which, come to think of it, is the same thought that Paul continues to provoke without Ronn.
$$$?

My guess was that Ron had a plan to provide something local and Paul was kind enough to give him a chance. Even Christian broadcasters aren't opposed to local programming that is clean and serves the public.

When the plan didn't follow through with the presentation Paul kept stewardship of what he owned on top. I don't know him well but know him enough that he believes in public service and operating within a budget.

Crossroads. Although I did hear that someone is interested in the properties if they can swap 102.7 for a smaller fm.
