Paul Harvey Passes Away

I was checking IRN/USA to see if Cyber Line got on the air (It was a best of.) and Jason Walker opened up saying a media legend had died. I WAS expecting Ed McMahon!

But when he said Paul Harvey...I was shocked!

Its as though the world has ended and in some ways so has radio.

RIP.

-BGH :'(

An era that is now passed. Paul Harvey was the epitome of an American broadcaster. "Good morning Americans...." And indeed everyday WAS indeed a "....Good day!" with Paul Harvey. He will be sorely missed.

I am grateful that Harvey was able to say things like "Good Morning, Americans". I know there are some programmers today who will not allow jocks to say "Good Morning, (insert market name here)".
