'FLA carried Paul Harvey from 1988 (when it switched from NBC to ABC affiliation) to 2005 (when it switched from ABC to Fox).
...then, unfortunately Paul spent his final Tampa Bay years on some hole in the wall where Mark Larsen couldn't wait to get rid of him.
I will grant the argument, though, that instead of Paul Jr. and Ron Chapman, they returned to a rotating series of hosts. Keith Olbermann, maybe? Keith, who last year found a comment of Harvey's vile enough to label him that days "Worst Person In The World", subbed for Harvey while at ABC/ESPN.
ABC TV's report stated Harvey last took the air in December. Some of his Saturday broadcasts were obviously cobbled together over the last few months.
I've neither seen nor heard if there will be any final broadcast on Monday morning at 830.
If there is to be any alternative at that hour, Charles Osgood continues to fit the bill.

In the early 80's, I was Chief Engineer for WGTO, Cypress Gardens. We were having problems with Air Force fighter jets swooping down and actually flying between the four towers.
I called the Air Force but they denied knowing anything about it.
I placed a call to Paul at his Chicago office and asked him to mention the potentially deadly antics.
Paul added my message to his 12:30 broadcast that same day....
I never saw the jets again.
