Paul Harvey's Rest Of The Story

30 years of programs - Paul Harvey's Rest of the Story. They are undated, timeless stories that would be great to hear on the radio again. We carried them on our station for the entire run starting in the 1970s. But they are not available today. I even contacted Paul Harvey Jr. without luck. :(

The only place you might have a slim chance of finding them would be if ABC kept the logger tapes, but who knows if Citadel kept them or pitched them when they acquired ABC Radio.

I understand that Harvey JR. was the writer of most of them. If they do belong to HIM, maybe he has a plan (or maybe not).

And I thought that was the plan, that PH Jr was working on making them available for syndication.

Bill, what have you heard? It seems like a natural thing to do for radio. But I can't find anything official. Paul Harvey Jr. has disappered.

I've written to Paul Harvey Jr. about possibly making the Rest of the Story available through syndication. We aired the program for over 30 years. We've always thrived as a "local station" and Paul Harvey's Rest of the Story was one of many things that helped us compete against satellite radio. What makes the program timeless, is how it was written. You obviously couldn't carry Paul's newscasts today, but the Rest of the Story program would be perfect in today's market.

We would love to have Paul back in our line up in a syndicated package. I don't have any doubt that you would have major market stations lining up for the chance to get Paul back on air.

Times are hard. 2010 needs Paul Harvey now more than ever before. These other syndicated shows can't hold a light to the "Rest of the Story."

Trying to get this message to Paul Harvey Jr.
