Paul Hosley KGO

My question is ,what program/s or who's program/s is keeping this station afloat.

I keep hearing that the "overall ratings " don't tell the whole story ,yet we can never know the whole story because we can't see or be told the "real" ratings.

This big boat is floating and water is close to the deck ,so what or who is keeping it afloat,I don't believe the news programming is.

Word is that Paul Hosley is out as news director at KGO. Who gets to sail the sinking ship next?

I never heard of PH and I've been listening for over 30 years. But not much since Dec 2011

They've been at a 1.0 share 25-54 for months. Yep that's pretty steady.

If they can make a profit with it then more power to them. And this is a curious thing: people keep harping in support of marginal formats that they want to hear on the radio, and with KGO's current ratings does it not qualify as having a marginal format?

Yes it's fine to hate Cumulus and the way they treated the KGO hosts. But KGO has stabilized and they've probably saved enough money to be profitable, who knows?
