Ok, Paul has been on WROR for a while now, what is your opinion? I am warming up to his show, nice to have fun in afternoon drive.......What do you think?
His show isn't bad; sort of like a light morning show in afternoon drive. Very listener and contest intensive; if it's the human aspect that will save terrestrial radio from iPods and commercial-free sat radio, ROR with Perry is doing the right thing. As for numbers, I hear that they're doing better than Kevin Redding but not necessarily as well as they were expecting.

They tried going with the "jukebox and liner card" approach after morning drive for years, and it wasn't working well enough. The bulk of their ratings were with Loren & Wally in the mornings. They finally seemed to realize that people respond to personality and listener involvement on stations of that type of format in other dayparts as well.
