Paul Perry on Sunday?

I was listening to Paul Perry today (Sunday) Is this a normal shift for him? I don't usually listen to radio on Sunday, I just happen to be driving and was flipping and heard him.

I think that is his normal shift, I have heard him on it more often than not - before he was doing it regularly it was normally Julie Devereaux and Paul Perry swapping every other week or so.

Paul's weekend shift used to be on Saturday (something like 10-3) but that changed a few weeks ago (that's when I noticed the change, anyway, on the website). Patrick Callahan had had a weekend shift as well but then he returned to WODS and Dominick Indindoli was added to weekends and that's when the change appeared online. I'd say about 6-ish weeks ago.

One reason that stations often give weekday jocks an additional weekend shift is because the weekday jocks are often working on a set salary, therefore it doesn't cost the station any more for them to do an additional weekend shift. In most cases, part-time weekenders would have to be paid hourly to do those shifts. The station saves hourly payroll money by having a salaried weekday host pull an additional weekend shift.
