Paul Simon Cashing In On Sarah Palin?

As everyone with a pulse and a penchant for news knows, politician and now author Sarah Palin is on the cover of Newsweek in a photo originally taken for a running-oriented magazine years ago. (She's calling the publication's decision to use the photo on its cover sexist.)

Anyway, I've heard so much flak about this decision that in my mind, I hear Paul Simon singing the line "It's all on the cover of Newsweek" from the song "Me And Julio Down By The Schoolyard."

Has anyone here heard a radio/TV station sampling this portion of the song while reporting or teasing a story about the Palin/Newsweek controversy?

The only one cashing on sarah palin is sarah palin......and maybe a little bit by Ricky Hollwood(Levi Johnston).

to be continued .......in 2012......until then, peace.

How many people that today are totaly associated with talk radio or TV used to be Top 40 jocks back in the Sixties, Seventies, and Eighties? I can think of:

1) Glenn Beck on WPGC

2) Rush Limbough on WIXZ

3) Alan Colmes on WNBC

4) Williard Scott on WAVY and WRC

More?

Speaking of Paul Simons... when the IL senator of that name ran for President in the '88 primaries, there was an editorial cartoon listing "Paul Simon's Greatest Hits", with titles like

I Am a Bloc
Bridge Over Troubled Liberals
Parsley, Sage, Rose Garden and Thyme
Sounds of Silage (Iowa Theme)
Me and Gephardt Down in the Polls
You Can Call Me Altruistic

and maybe one or two that I forget.

Ix,
Accuracy Dept;
The Il senator to which you refer (who wore a bow tie) was Paul SIMON - not "Simons."

Accuracy Dept.
Abbrev for Illinois is IL not Il ..........

Bardot, Peugeot, ooo-la-la and Bonsoir
C'est à vous !

(Can't you just see the board editor Googling this stuff to see if it's dirty or not?) HA!!

The Coup De Grace.........would be downloading and playing ...Je T' Ame (mon non plus) By Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birken....
