Paul Sliwa RIP

I am saddened to report that Paul Sliwa has died. Paul was the long time engineer at 970 WFLA who reinvented himself as one of the best IT guys in radio. Paul bailed me out of some serious problems on more than one occasion and it never mattered whether the yell for help came in the middle of the work day or at o'dark thirty. You could count on you to get back on track as quickly as humanly possible.

Paul also had a droll delivery and a northeastern accent that combined with his dry sense of humor always cracked me up.

I've lost a good friend and I'm sure many here feel the same way.

Mike Hennessy

Really neat guy. As you said...great sense of humor. Enjoyed knowing him back at the Jackson Street location of WFLA
