Pauline Robbins has finally passed on.

Hey Folks.

For those of you who remember the thread about fellow broadcaster Pauline Robbins, and of course "Polly's Think Pink Radiothon" that made history in Northern New England radio.....

I just want to let everyone know that Pauline finally passed on at 2:30 this morning.

Godspeed.

Fjake.

God bless her soul, and her friends and family.
What a unique and special experience to be a part of upper valley radio history with the radio-thon. thanks!

Very sad news. At least she is finally at rest and without pain.

My condolences to her family, friends, and all who worked with her. Pauline was one-of-a-kind, was wonderful to work with, and will be greatly missed.

One of my favorite people to listen to on the radio. She was a female who took the lead role on a morning show and showed us all how to do it. She left us too soon.

In case anyone is interested.....service is Wednesday, from 3-7 at Ricker Funeral Home, located on School St. (Route 120) in Lebanon, NH.

Wish I could be there. :'( I didn't know her but being a New Hampshire radio alumnus with roots at WNTK and maybe Vox Communications...

Hey Jake, thanks for the post. I am in tears today. My thoughts and prayers to Ryan and family. As well as to you and Heath, as you both were as close as family could ever be. God bless Pauline. We are all lucky to have known her and will carry a piece of her in our hearts.

All my love,
Mediamomma

Such a fighter. I just hope she realized that she did have many friends and that the radiothon showed her how much she meant to us all.

Polly was one of the best people i've worked with - not just in the UV, but both coasts and Europe. my thoughts and prayers go out to Ryan, her folks, family and all of us - we have lost someone special.

It's so hard to believe. Prayers and sympathies to Ryan and the family.
We'll miss her. :(

Still can't believe it...she looked so good when she stopped here to say 'hi' last summer. Anyone know if there will be a service in the Bangor area?

This has really saddened me. I never knew Pauline "Polly" in everyday life, but I was lucky enough to get to know her on myspace.com As you might expect, it was through an illness. I had just been diagnosed with a mysterious disease which had attacked my lungs, and I was very scared. However, Polly made me feel much better and she actually calmed me down. Then one day after saying hello to Polly nearly everyday for two months and commenting each others blogs, she quit logging on. I'm not certain what it was, but I had a really bad feeling come over me, and sadly I was correct. Life doesn't seem fair, but if I learned anything from Polly it was how to look at life in a better light. May Polly always Rest In Peace. She is loved by many.
