On the Canadian side of things, i=intelligent television. I'm not aware of how well it's doing though.

Here's the link: www.ichannel.ca/
______________

Whoa... That looks like an even more boring schedule than ours, somehow. Yawn! Guess the Canadians aren't banking on anyone being interested in buying time on their station?
______________

So is he just TRYING to get Pixar and Disney to sue him, or what? That Canadian version of the logo looks even more like The Incredibles logo than ours does!

It's a digital specialty channel. Most broadcasters aren't interested in providing programming people will watch, because they will still gain revenue by getting their channel bundled with other channels. That is why you get so much filler dumped on these channels. Many diginets are only names nowadays. Some obvious exceptions being Food Network and Golf (which even has golf-themed infomercials)

Actually, since, according to the links at the bottom of the page, they also own BPM Canada (a dance music video station www.Bpmtv.com/ ) and the Pet Network, ( www.Mypetnetwork.tv/ ) it could very well be a case of deliberatly making money on some channels, and losing money on others to pay less taxes in the end.
(yes, as a guess, ichannel Canada may be a tax write off for that company)

However, the competition (Animal planet Canada, CTV owned) is far more successful, I understand, so I'm not really sure what to tell you.
I'm also shocked BPM wasn't sold to Chum group (Owners of MuchMusic Canada) like (the Corus Canada owned) Edge tv was (now Much loud Canada)
______________

...which has nothing to do with the Pax network logo which is what I was refering to. As far as I know; PaxWay adn the other Pax-branded things will still have the Pax name.

I just saw an ad for "PaxMall.com" on WPXN/31 in New York. I'm assuming this is another one of those things not "i"mpacted by the change.
______________
