Pay O'Day

the word "legend" is overused, but it certainly applies to a man who turns 75 today: Pat O'Day. Happy Birthday Pat!~

Congrats to 'The Godfather of Seattle Radio' - and let's make it to 100...

Has Pat finally layed off on the ciggies now?...

..thought Schick Shadel already cured him of that puffin' - oh well...

Pat The Godfather or Seattle radio, all the best my friend!

The advice you gave me thirty years ago, I still live by; say a paragraph in a sentence, then a sentence in four words!

May your candles burn long a bright forever!

Much love,

Gary

Re: the S-S treatment ads

I know nothing about O'Day in the heyday firsthand and I'll assume the treatment ads get thru to some of the target audience which is likely to be pretty resistant to being reached...

but I'll say I find those ads and his delivery of those ads completely intolerable. I will sprint to turn them off.

Happy (belated) Birthday to a true Seattle/Puget Sound radio legend, and the definitive voice of the Hydros!

Mike
