IS there a way to get XM without having a credit card? I never had a credit card nor do I want to get one but I do want to get XM. Can they do something like money order or Western Union? I got a free trial of their webcasts with the new computer I just bought and I have been glued ever since. KISS, 60s on 6, 80s on 8, 90s on 9 and Heart would be worth the $12.95 a month.<P ID="signature">______________

What are my billing options?
XM accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover credit cards. XM also offers EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) from your checking or savings bank account, as well as invoice billing.

Due to escalating handling and processing costs, XM charges a nominal fee of $2 per invoice to subscribers who choose invoice billing.

Thanks I gave them a call. Details:

Buy a radio, activate it online for $9.99 instead of 14$99

Within 7 days recieve a bill for 3 months service, 2 dollar invoice fee and the avtivation fee. Pay that and you're good for 3 months.

So all I gotta do is run over and grab a radio and get it activated. They're definately coming down in price compared to a couple years ago so I guess now is the time.

If you're a Costco member, I recomend buying the Roady 2 there. It's $79.99, but includes the homekit and a remote for the radio.

Well I'm all set. I got a Roady 2 at Walmart for $48 and a power adaptor at Radio Shack for $19. I'm really enjoying it.

All but 106.7, 106.9, 107.5 and 107.7 are open around here. So I've been using 88.3 and 107.9. <P ID="signature">______________

No such luck in Nashville: I have to keep swapping frequencies, depending
on what part of the city I'm in. 107.1 works best...but Bowling Green creeps in
on the northside (and out by Priest Lake)<P ID="signature">______________

I used an FM modulator almost from the beginning. Then, I stuck in the cassette adapter just for a comparison. Hands down, the Delphi adaptor sounds way better to me then the Delphi modulator. Stereo response is wider and the output is higher. Overall sound quality is brighter. And we're talk about a Ford factory unit here. Much to my suprise, you can't even hear the casette drive mechanism running in the casette shell. A vast improvement over the older cassette adapters.

Find a friend who still has room on thier account to add radios, and offer them ten bucks a month paid a year in advance.

they save money, you save money, everyone is happy.

Just get the account login and password so you can listen online
