PBR on multiple channels

PBR last year had some shows on OLN, some on NBC. This season they're splitting time with FOX. (Why was Mike Adamle calling last weekend's event? Part of the deal or something?)

Is this a test to see if they draw on a major network or something? It's tough to follow an entire event when they split them so I'm hoping it isn't something they'll continue.
