PBS and YouTube TV

Not sure if this is the right forum, but in other markets, does Youtube TV carry the primary PBS affiliate?
I just signed up for it and for some reason in Los Angeles, they only carry the secondary PBS (KCET) and the tertiary PBS (KLCS) but not the main one, KOCE. Kind of bummed because some of the good documentaries (like the Ken Burns documentaries) are shown on the main PBS station. I'm wondering if LA is the only market where it is like this and why?

Really?! That's interesting. In L.A., you got KOCE, KCET, KLCS and to a lesser extent, KVCR. You should have at least the former three on there.

When I had YouTube TV, which PBS stations you got was based specifically on the zip code you were in. In Massachusetts those north of Boston get WGBH and WENH, but south of Boston you only got WGBH. They do not carry WGBX or WSBE. Those in Rhode Island got WGBH, and the southern part of the state gets the CT PBS station as well.

I'm in the LA DMA. But nope, no KOCE, only a KOCE subchannel "PBS Kids" but they put KCET as the main PBS station. Even if you search by zip code on Youtube TV's channel list, you will not see KOCE, the primary PBS affiliate. I guess us in LA got shortchanged. Hope it changes soon (on a side note, would be nice if they add KTLA as well).

KCET was once the main PBS station, but in 2010, they quit PBS and operated and an independent. At that time KOCE became the primary PBS station. A couple of years ago, KCET merged with KOCE and resumed membership in PBS, but as a secondary station. It's possible that YouTube hasn't updated its information. If you have a way to reach YouTube customer service, you might let them know.
