Actually, Kevin's been working on KTRB for several months. This was just the official announcement.

The 50,000 Watt Flamethrower for the entire bay area, KTRB 860AM San Francisco! Now on air for your boring entertainment and listening displeasure. Just another wasted broadcast signal for San Francisco. This station will most likely be nothing but a clone of the garbage that is already heard on the Modesto wasted signal 840AM. Good for the owners but totally forgettable by the listeners. But we can hope for the best though! Now back to the nations new local station XM Satellite Radio and the music monster, the 60's on 6! Let's have some fun! Vibrations! lol lol lol.......Hey! Bobby Ocean is on the 70's on 7 too! Radio programers today have no clue how bad they stink to high heaven! Time to come back down to earth from your ivory towers and join the human race and learn what most people really like to listen to. Quit acting like your do-do doesn't stink! It does!
 
What kind of Format is KTRB? I listened for 15 mins and went right back to Sirius Gold !! Thats hardly what I would listen to! Its like 95.7 is currently, March 1st cant come soon enough!! Show me there is still hope for Terrestrial Radio Entercom, read these posts past and current and give us something worth listening to!! No more Bones or Country stations, thank you! I think Adult Standards may be a great choice for the new KTRB, now that the KABL internet radio station is no longer on the air! They are too many current music radio stations in this market. Isn't about time someone in this market played music from an older generation? I think so!

Are you serious? There are, like TEN threads here describing what KTRB has been doing --it's a stunt format ("The San Francisco Sound") for the month of February. And even if you didn't know that, you could surely figure it out in less than 15 minutes of listening. I doubt there are more than 2 songs on KTRB that MAX 95.7 is also playing.
 
There is a big thing in the works here. You people can poonder all you like, but there is a lot of thick thought into this station. I wish I could tell you what I know, but I can't. All I can say is that the level of excitement is going to be high indeed. I was not allowed to follow thru with my original plan here. I had to leave for personal reasons that I can not divulge here but let's just say that it was becasue of KTRB that I had to leave the KTRB project okay? Many of you know the whole story because I told it here one night, but I got it earsed because it would have exposed too much of that plan. AM radio will be king again you can believe me about that.
