PD Rossi Out at Lightning 100

Yes, the CC Stick cometh, but where along the Alt line will it fall? Ideally, on a line with opposite endpoints of Lightning and Buzz, it would hit the epicenter between the two. Or would this be a good town to try out real Alt Country? Lightning has been showing signs of strain for some time now, continuing to try to achieve the sound of an old hippie station with occasional religious affairs programming for the Church of Green Causes.

Passed through Nashville from Atlanta to St. Louis and listened to Lightning 100. I'm an alternative music fan and the CC station sounds like a typical cookie-cutter alt station. Wasn't impressed the least little bit. I read that Lightning 100 is actually AAA and maybe someone can correct me on this but they do lean pretty straight alternative playing some harder tracks that most AAA stations won't touch.

Personally, I would hate to see Lightning 100 go. CC may have an alternative station in town but alternative fans are not listening to it.
