Peachtree TV Launch Schedule

Looks like Montel stays on WSB-TV. Also, infomercials will make their Channel 17 debut.

There is a block Sunday 6-10:30AM missing, so WPCH may be broadcasting religious services (another Channel 17 first)

So it's going to be just another generic "destination" or "appointment" station? Sigh.

They're replacing TBS with TBS.

I was hoping for some original programming or some regional interest stuff (a la the old Turner South).

EDIT: I will give them one "kudos" -- and that's for putting Family Guy on at 7PM. That should draw in the 7PM audience that WATL forfeited when they moved the Simpsons to late night. That actually shows some decent regional thinking, even though it's not original programming.

Wow, Peachtree TV sucks from what I read! What was the point of dumping TBS 17? Here in DeKalb, I see TBS is moving to ch39 on Comcast. Don't know what will become of channels 19, 76, 78 on Comcast as well as where is ABC Family moving to.

What is going to be the E/I programming? There's no more "Saved By The Bell" (which was E/I on WTBS) or any of the Saturday morning public affairs programming... unless they move it to Sunday morning and haven't listed it here.

I'll bet they tag AFHV as E/I. Don't know how, but they probably will justify it by some means.

And of course, there's "Diff'rent Strokes", which had more than its share of "very special episodes".

As for infomercials -- not the first time channel 17 had them; from the mid-1980s to late-1990s, they were seen overnights on Sunday night / Monday morning, at least on the national feed (though I assume they were carried locally as well).
