Peacock, Fox Sports streaming apps think I live in Rhode Island

I’m not sure if this is the right thread for this, but the past 2 weekends while watching NFL playoff games, I’ve seen countless ads for the Rhode Island lottery when I live in Massachusetts. I’ve seen this on both the Fox Sports and Peacock streaming apps on my Apple TV.

The Fox sports app plays this annoying ad on repeat, sometimes 4-5 times before returning to game action.

The Peacock app, meanwhile, also shows ads for a Chevrolet dealership, a security company, and a heating/cooling company all displaying 401 area codes.

I live in MA, and pay my taxes to that state. So why am I seeing countless RI ads? Is Roger Williams’s ghost responsible for this?

Parts of Norfolk, Plymouth and Worcester, MA are near the Rhode Island State line that could be an indication why one would get Rhode Island ads.
