PEGGY SEARS

DAMN! She's way too young for that. If she was 23 when she started at KBOX in 1976, that makes her 55 or 56 now. Sheesh, first Christopher Landers, then Rick Wais...all with strokes. Prayers are en route. Thanks very much for the heads up. Very nice lady...met her for the first time at one of the Texas Radio Hall of Fame ceremonies a couple of years ago.

That's what this industry does to us -- if it's not lung cancer from being stressed-out chain smokers, it's a heart attack from anxiety and hypertension... or a stroke from years of ungodly hours and erratic sleep schedules.

Sorry to hear this. Does anyone have an update on her? Peggy is a dear woman and we all send her rich blessings and best wishes for a quick recovery.
