I don't know if this should go here or not being that it does cross between TV and radio but Penny Crone, the reporter on GDNY that was fired from Fox 5 just before Christmas AND who has been on Howard's radio show from time to time, has been hired on Sirius Satellite Radio to give news on Howard 100, this after Stern heard about her unceremonious DUMP.
I think it's a dual thing here from Stern....he might have dissed Penny Crone on air from time-to-time but they are seemingly friendly. ADD to the fact that back in the 80's when he was supposed to do a David Letterman-style show for the Fox network and it was DUMPED after 5 tapings (the show never went to air) Stern has always wanted to stick it to Fox in any way he can.
I still never forgot the uncomfortable interview Gordon Elliott had with Howard just after the Joan Rivers show was dumped. The crew had signs saying that "Fox killed Edgar Rosenberg" (Joan's husband who committed suicide) and were mocking Gordon left and right.
