People in Lehighton upset about 1160 switch

I knew something was up once Nassau switched the call letters from YNS to BYN. However, I was hoping it was just a call letter switch instead of a conversion like I had feared. Many people up in the Lehighton that I know are extremley PISSED that Nassau Droped ESPN Radio for the WBYN Simulcast. I don't really understand the move (money the obvious reason in some form/or possible 107.5 alive format switch) because 107.5 Alive comes in clearly in the Lehighton/Tamaqua/Thorpe Area. But for now, and probably permanently, its just 1230 & 1320 for ESPN Radio (which hardly reaches Lehighton)

This is why I'm thinking 107.5 has to be flipping sooner or later. 1160 isn't extending WBYN-FM's coverage much, if at all. The purchase just doesn't make sense if 107.5 is sticking with its current format.
