I'm bored as heck, so let's go down memory lane.....
I live in Ft. Worth now, but I grew up in Ralls, and then Lubbock. I remember as a kid in the 70's, I got my top 40 fix from 950 KSEL AM which was heard on 93.7 as well. In the late 80's, I used to listen to urban on 580 KJBX AM, also known as, "Jambox 58". We had Z102, but I was digging 99.5 KRLB FM, also known as, "FM99". Then the early 90's came, and 99.5 got a little hip as top 40, "B99.5". If I remember right, if you wanted your easy listening fix, you tuned to, 101.1 KTEZ FM, known as "Easy 101". Before I left Lubbock in 1996, I was able hear hip hop in the evenings on 1420 KLFB AM, known as, "B1420 The Bomb", and KMMX FM, was known as "Mix 104.7". I also remember a station playing standards named, 1050 KCAS AM. Somebody help me! If you remember any of the old Lubbock stations, post them.
