Peoria AC Opening

I have an afternoon opening in Peoria. Current afternoon talent will concentrate on his Production Director duties. Here's the official ad: Searching for friendly, conversational air talent for upbeat today's AC market legend. Must enjoy outside remotes and appearances and have good production skills. Web design proficiency a big plus. Good salary and benefits. Become part of JMP Radio Group, the dominate cluster in the market. Randy Rundle, Lite Rock 107, 331 Fulton St., 12th Floor Peoria 61602 or send stuff to [email protected] JMP Radio Group, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer

So if your an EOE employer how come the first line in your post refers to "his" production director duties?

Also I think you are not using the work dominate correctly. I think you are intending to use the word dominant.

Nice work overall

Randy was referring to the current production director, who is doing afternoons on WSWT. The Prod dir is giving up his duties on-air to be the production director full-time. Hence the need for an afternoon talent male or female.

This is, if I recall, the third time I've seen this ad posted in the last couple of years. Yet the position is never filled.

That would make sense if that is the case. If so, sorry I stirred the pot.

Randy is a good guy. I question the management. Listening to 93.3 The Drive on a 50,000 watt frequency makes me quiver. Can any company spend any less on a station. Since they are owned by the same comany I tie this together with a bow.

I remember the day of KZ93,WKQA,and Sweet when it really was Sweet. The days of HT Lee Malcom Larry o'brien and the car star.

I am now crying!

It's a good gig at a top station. You get ratings handed to you on a silver platter.

Randy is a great guy to work with. He works just as hard as the rest of the staff. He doesn't ask anything of you he will not do, or has not done himself.

It's time Ryan got a chance to focus on the words (if Geoff Bell will leave him alone) and the new afternoon person can do a REAL show. It will only make for a better station. (Do I hear more revenue?)

Okay ... so it's Peoria! Get satellite, high speed Internet, and a subscription to the beer-of-the-month club. What else do you need?
