Perfect opportunity to reimage KVIL coming up

SOOOO...after they finally ax the Christmas tunes on, what, February 1st, does anyone think KVIL will unveil a new image? Good time to do so, if they must. With this new PD and her Christian-heavy resume, KVIL could likely go head-to-head with KLTY (who stole away a lot of their share a few books back, and has since held onto it) and make it into another ho-hum 'family-safe' station. Gene-n-Julie was the first step in that direction. And just a general toning-down over the last few months of anything energetic or risky or out of any norm or mainstream...sheesh, you'd never find a Mike Selden or a Cat Simon working at THIS Kvil!

My guess is that we're in for further banality and boredom. The last Trends were not friendly to the station, putting The Oasis and KLUV once again ahead of this lost sheep. I'd expect even more country-Christian crossover songs, more Michael Bolton/Buble, a heavy dose of "Butterfly Kisses" and NOTHING whatsoever with any cussing or controversy (unless it has to do with patriotism.) Maybe Dr James Dobson could spin a few tunes, and Delilah could be replaced with June Hunt's "Hope for the Heart" religious show. Bleah.
