Finally, Perfect Strangers has been released on DVD. Seasons 1 and 2 will be available as a boxed set starting February 5th.

"Finally" as in "someone was actually waiting for this set?" ;D ;D

I can think of at least two people:

-The president (and lone remaining member) of the Balki Bartokamos Fan Club
-That guy who ran into Mark-Linn Baker in the supermarket once, and remembers it as "the best day of his life".

Neither of which are me, just so we're clear.

-That guy who ran into Mark-Linn Baker in the supermarket once, and remembers it as "the best day of his life".

I worked with a guy who once sold Mark-Linn Baker at Sony Walkman when we worked at an electronics store in Poughkeepsie and I'll bet even he isn't waiting for this dvd set.

I checked at the local DVD store, and they were out.
I asked about it at the desk, and the guy started laughing. I don't know if he was remembering some of his favorite Balki moments, but that's what I'd like to think. I couldn't get a firm date for when they would have the product back in stock. ??? ???

:p

A crying shame that a piece of dreck like "Perfect Strangers" is out on DVD when such fine alternatives such as "Hello, Larry" are still not available..... ::)

You're probably right man, either way.
That dude you worked with probably is not waiting for this DVD set, and I even have to wonder if Mark-Linn Baker his own self might be highly ambivalent.
