Perhaps A "Classic Country" Format

I was sitting here wondering why a country station in the Cleveland or Akron area dosen't put aside 4 hours on a Saturday or Sunday evening for those great Country Classics that we listened to in the 70's and 80's.
I miss hearing songs by the Oak Ridge Boys, Conway Twitty, Statler Brothers, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Charlie Rich, Charlie Pride, George Jones, Hank Williams Jr., Johnny Lee, Mickey Gilley, Slyvia and so on.
Growing up listening to WSLR 1350 AM was a great radio station that broke alot of new songs and artists, especially with Jaybird Drennan. I am hoping someone will pick this up and let those who are tired of "todays country" will get a chance to enjoy at least four hours of a "Country Classic" country format from the 70's and 80's with dedications and request.
 
It would be cool to hear a station like that. Essentially, graft the format currently heard on WOBL/1320 Oberlin onto a full-market signal. (I also still hold out hope that WOBL can someday broadcast on the internet, too...)
 
Many years ago on 99.5 WGAR they had all request country gold (oldies)on sunday nights with Bill Fridrick for 3 hours and then it got moved to sunday mornings with Collier v/t.
I agree with Nathan WOBL/WDLW should have internet brodcasting for the fine selections of country gold and koolkat oldies.
 
WQMX (94.9) in Akron does tend to mix in a few oldies on it's Sat. Nite Reqest show. Last night I heard Joe Friday play Hank Williams Jr. "Country Boy Can't Survive". But I do agree a full 70's & 80's show would be great hear on a Sunday. I get tired of the countdown shows all the time!!
 
WGAR airs a good "Classic" show on Sunday Mornings 6:30a -9a. It's a syndicated show from Rick Jackson.
 
With several non-commercial stations in and around Cleveland I'm a bit surprised for the lack of a classic country program there.

WBZI Xenia, WEDI Eaton and WKFI Wilmington in southwest Ohio with an audiostream where bluegrass and classic country still rules.
