There have been way too many posts recently devolving into political flamewars. There are thousands of other places online that if you wish to share your political opinions to do so. While there are some topics that are political in nature, all we ask is to discuss them on the merits of how they affect broadcasting and NOT use them to push your personal political beliefs. I have recently had to begin banning members from posting who have continuously disregarded this after public warnings.
The last thing we want to do here is have to babysit posters because a handful of people cannot follow one of the few rules we have in place here. Similarly there are a couple people who feel the need to report every single post they disagree with politically abusing the feature. Waking up in the morning having to go through a dozen or so reported posts is not what we're here to do. We don't make money keeping this site operating, but do it because of what it once was and believe could be again.
