As some of you may know, trumpet legend, Pete Candoli passed away last Friday at age 84 in Studio City, CA.
In addition to marrying beautiful women, Candoli was known for his high note trumpet solos and was one of the busiest session men of the 50's and 60's. Some of his best work can be heard on the Peter Gunn soundtrack album by Henry Mancini (he also occasionally appeared on the show).

For some of you who program stations, you might want to add a little Peter Gunn into the playlist in tribute to Pete. "The Brothers Go To Mother's" is a nice tune (Of course, every cut on the album is a gem).
