Looks like the hinted deal with 98.5 fell thru. I wonder if the "timing" comment is a point towards missing out on being picked to replace Tangway (in lieu of Gresh).

Per a court ruling from a few years back, non-competes are not enforceable in Massachusetts.

WEEI should hire Pete to do about eight hours on weekends. The only thing they have is the two baseball shows. The rest is garbage, Pete wouldn't allow the same callers to call two or three times a day. I swear I've heard some callers a half dozen times on a weekend....Steve from Fall River, Angelo from Everett, John from the Cape, et al.

i think weei got rid of him for a reason so i don't think they would want him back if he left!!
