Pete Wiesner (Richards) WROQ/WBCY

For those who may remember, Pete worked 10p-2a on WROQ 86-87. Later, he handled nights on WBCY. I got a call from his daugther informing me of his death on December 24. Pete had not been in the best of health over the past several years.

One thing I will always treasure is the fact that Pete was very kind to a kid just out of college. I working overnights at WROQ and Pete got the job doing late nights. We hit it off. He took a lot of time to give advice and help me put together airchecks. He also helped me get a job at WBCY when he was moving on. I will be forever grateful for all of Pete's help. I was fortunate to be able to stay in contact with him over the years. He was a kind and funny man. I will miss him.

This link provides little info, but i thought I would paste it anyhow. You will need to page down a little bit to get to it. It was still active today.
