Howie has said he has an uncensored version of that pic, in his office. Bluto's companion on the trip was Swampscott GOP figure Sandy Tennant (who had some embarrassing incidents involving booze and sought treatment). I remember Howie would have Peter on his show as a guest and at one point Peter filled in for him, the ever-popular "tryout"; I think he sounded a bit unready for the air at the
time (he was on solo) but I guess he improved and did wind up co-hosting the RKO morning gig.
One of Blute's RKO co-hosts was Andy Moes, who died suddenly at the age of 50. I remember going into a Brookline cable TV studio to do an interview on one of their shows and it was all over the web and the air that morning, the sudden death of Andy. He would also be paired with John "Ozone" Osterlind, who these days is afternoon host at Rush Radio in New Orleans (and I listened to him when I was down
there last summer). Another co-host was Scott Allen Miller, aka Scotto who later went to Albany.
Ozone recalls his past, in this page on the WRNO/Rush Radio site:

>>(WAAF, then) Then I went "down the hall" to 'AAF sister station, News-Talk WRKO to host a talk show for a few years. I took a break from radio for a few years to open a bar, and help smuggle Cubans into Miami. Three years ago, I ran into the WRNO brass outside Larry Flynts' Barely Legal Club on Bourbon St., where they offered me this job.
