Peter Blute To Run Against Ted Kennedy

E

EWF

Guest
Channel 4 reported tonight that former WRKO morning side kick and former MassPort Booze Cruise Head Honcho is planning to run against Senator Edward M. Kennedy for US Senate.

I'll drink to that. In fact, both Blute and Kennedy would both drink to that rather heavily.

Word of advice to Blute: don't pack your bags to Washington. The "Seat" will be passed down to Joe Kennedy whenever he wants it.

Yes, heard about that (politics but relates to Boston board as it involves a former WRKO personality/MassPort head/US Rep.)

Though wasn't the scandal more sexually oriented than booze? Ginger

Blute vs The Swimmer

>>former MassPort Booze Cruise Head Honcho

That's a stretch. Both went on a booze cruise, but I'll let you decide which had a worse outcome. Read www.ytedk.com for all the details.

How ironic, I was just talking to a restaurant owner in Shrewsbury (Blute's hometown) and she thought he may run for guvna. I figured he would come back to the radio eventually, but he's been making TV appearances here and there.

Re: Blute vs The Swimmer

Does he think he can seriously challenge Kennedy? I'd love to see it, just to keep Teddy honest. But I think this is Blute angling to stick something else on the resume for the NEXT tv or radio gig he goes for.

Re: Blute vs The Swimmer

Almost anyone who posts on Radio-Info.com would make a better Senator than Ted Kennedy and Peter Blute combined!

That's because most Radio-Info.com contributors have something most politicians lack: Common sense.

;)

As for me, I won't run, and if elected, I will not serve.

A bad day of hunting with Dick Cheney is still safer than a car ride with Ted Kennedy.

Unless Dickie kills you and then by his own words he word wait 20 plus hours to see what condition you were in. By the way, you should give attribution to that line which you stole.
