Peter Jennings | 1938-2005

While this has been already posted to the USA board, I felt it would be a good idea to post about the passing of Jennings from a Canadian perspective here, since Jennings was Canadian-born. He hosted a radio program for kids on CBC Radio known as "Peter's People". His first television appearance was on "Saturday Date" on CTV affiliate CJOH in Ottawa, then he was an anchor on the CTV National News, originally produced at CJOH.

Are any of the news outlets in Canada covering his death? Will CBC's The National mention it tonight? Keep us informed.

There was some coverage on CTV NewsNet today. They interviewed veteran CJOH News anchor Max Keeping, and showed the intro to the original CTV National News from 1962. Global had some coverage as well.
