Stephen A. may not be the best, but he is better than either one of these putrid shows.
 
I really don't understand all the hate on here for Petros and Money. The bashing of SAS and JT the Brick, I get....but PMS is a damn good show in my book.
 
Same here. PMS is a very good show.How does it do ratings wise in LA? I think it has personality, unlike most of the shows on ESPN Radio.

I got the feeling that Stephen A. didn't allways prepare for his show.
 
Why all the hate for PMS?

Petros, in particular, has the most annoying voice I've ever heard on the radio. Period. The show is mostly content free, which I expect from sports radio in 2010, but his voice makes it difficult to stick around.

IMHO. I'm probably too old for the demo they're trying to reach.
 
I'm just a few years older than Petros but I think he's annoying to me as well. There's a guy by the name of John Fricke who would be great for the 7-10p Eastern slot.

When the ONLY reason your show becomes national is due to a cost-cutting move by Clear Channel, that's not a good thing. LA sports radio really must suck wastewater if those two were deemed "rising stars" - neither one of them is worthy of a third-shift weekend slot.

Petros Papadakis has only one volume level - of 11, while Matt Smith is just bland-o and uninspiring. Wow, what a winning combination. ::)

It's almost as inexplicable as ESPN Radio's infatuation with Freddie Coleman. XP

Petros is somewhat like Scott Farrell in the 90s. I didn't like Farrell's voice and never got him. Hopefully PMS will go the way of Farrell. If I listen to sportstalk show, I want to hear about sports, especially when there is several sports stories in the headlines and PMS doesn't talk about it. I don't want to hear about relationship or money advice. There are shows for that stuff. This is a sports talk show.
 
It's even worse when Petros starts creeping into the 5pm Eastern hour of Loose Cannons.

I understand cost cutting but I can't understand forcing two local LA shows on a whole country the way FSR does with Loose Cannons and PMS.
 
I wonder what Deb Carson thought of Stephen A. I mean how many times can tou tell a woman she is lovely before it gets old or becomes sexual harassment.
 
Unless she is a complete phony she seemed to genuinely like Stephen A, not sure if you were listening on the last day but it was a big group hug. I never took his saying The Lovely Deb Carson as him going over the line, it seemed to be respectful but then again I was not on the receiving end of it.

I think SAS style would work better on the weekends or evening, I don't know about drive time on the way home. I have been giving the Loose Cannons a shot, jury still out. So just how much money is 5 Hour Energy paying to get mentioned on that show every 5 minutes? Man, but I guess ads keep the lights on.

A petition will do you no good, of course, and I wasn't a fan of SAS (or a detractor, I just never heard him)...

But I'd welcome white noise as a replacement for Petros.
 
When in the right mood I actually enjoy some screamo sports talk but during the work day 9-5 EST I need emo!! I sense a little tension between POB and Petros, might be radio schtick though.

Did anyone hear a couple of the calls Jay M took on the Rome show today? It was cracking me up, especially the lady from somewhere in Ohio. She sounded like me trying to talk to a girl in 8th grade. He is a pretty funny dude, a little repetitive sometimes but that is what clones prefer.
 
Well, even though the point is moot now that SAS is gone, I'd rather listen to crickets than have Stephen A. Smith replace either of the FSR shows. Money once laughed and mocked the Two Live Stus for having the worst show on radio, but it's interesting he's getting the same treatment by many folks outside of LA. PMS is acquired taste and at this point, I've lost that taste and have switched to Mason and Ireland on the competing station.

I don't like it. Even John Fricke does it and I don't like it. A few times no problem but every freaking day. Something is wrong.
