In the opening episode Railroad tycoon Homer Bedloe (Charles Lane), who wanted to scrap the Cannonball Train (and would try many times throughout the series) asks Joe why the elevator is there when it clearly is'nt connected. Yes..I wasnt aware of it in the later color episodes. Watched the first episode this morning on a Public Domain DVD.and the Mynah Bord was there..
