The bar continues to be set even lower and lower. Seems like not so long ago that a station that fell below a 2 share was ripe for a format change. Strange to look above KLLI, KDBN and Twister on the list and see who has better ratings than them...perennial losers and ne'er-do-well's are actually looking GOOD next to this group.
But there's apparently some format tweaking that will TRULY save The Bone...as they plan to skew towards OLDER classic rock coming up. Sure, go for the 45+ males that agencies REALLY crave...instead of going with the market-fresh concept of "Modern Classic Rock" that will reel in some of the younger Jack crowd that's sick of Jack's imaging and hearing "Cat's in the Cradle" after a Scorpions song. Yeah, the older stuff REALLY worked for KZPS and, before, for The Bone. Is Jeff K back in the programmer's chair there or something?
